I had the honour of illustrating and designing the invitations and RSVPs to my friends’ wedding!

This was my first time doing something like this, so it was pretty exciting.

So here are the images that I used, and later added in the text where they needed to go.
The final product was a 5″x7″ folded card (for the invite) and a 3″x5″ RSVP.

It was nice and I had a good time, but I was once again reminded of Canada’s tiny population compared to Japan (and to a certain extent, Korea). People everywhere!
The sakura/cherry blossom trees were in full bloom when I got there, so that was great too.

 

As for this illustration… it’s a diptych! I don’t do these too often…
I think I have a thing for constellations now. I’ll add it to my list of stuff I like to illustrate, along with fish, trees, flowers, birds and hair :P

Hi everyone!

Firstly, I want to apologize for the huge gap of time between my last post and this one.

But mainly, I just want to announce that I will be out of the country for a little while!
I’m going to be visiting Japan (mostly Tokyo), and a bit of South Korea (Seoul).
I will be back on the 17th!!

It’s been a few years since I last went to Japan, so I’m very much looking forward to it.
But, it will be my first time in Korea, so I’m a bit nervous (seeing that there is a language barrier), but I hope to have fun :)

edit: I would also like to add that I will have access to the internet during this time, so if anyone needs to get a hold of me, I will be still checking my email!! (Though not as often as I would usually check)
