From March 15th to April 1st, I’ll be away on a trip!

I’ll still be checking my email (though probably not as often as usual), if ever you need to get in touch!

I’ll see you all soon!

Take Flight

Reflection

So I did two more diorama illustrations!
I really like doing these, but I think my next image will be my usual flat illustration :)

Also, if you ever want to see some behind-the-scenes photos on my works, I usually post them on my Tumblr. But more specifically, you can go to my #wip tag and see them all in one spot!

Another diorama illustration I put together!

I’m still trying to get down exactly how I want to do things regarding these types of illustrations… But, getting a tripod was probably a step in the right direction. I have no idea why I didn’t have one before this!

Happy Holidays!!

I can’t believe that it’s this time of the year already. It feels like only yesterday that 2012 started.

I hope you enjoy this new kind of illustration! I plan on doing more of these in the coming new year.
Looking back, I always loved doing dioramas for school projects, so this is an awesome way to relive my childhood joy while still working.

holiday commissions!

Saturday, December 8th, 2012

I was requested to do 2 commissions recently that both had to do with the holiday season.

The first is for the Gigaventure team who blogs about anime/manga/gaming news. This is currently being used as their cover image on their Facebook page!

The other is for a lovely couple who contacted me for a Christmas themed image to be used as a Christmas card!

Both were very fun to do, and really put me in a holiday mood while working on them. Thanks to both Poy and Veronica!

the fall

The one thing I learnt from putting this illustration together is that tiny buildings are fun to draw!

I changed my original plan while I was working on this, so now there are a bunch of small building lying around. Maybe I’ll go ahead and use them for something else!

A work in progress shot of the buildings uncut and unpainted can be seen here at my Tumblr!
