The rough idea and sketch for this one has been done for quite some time, but I only recently finished it.

I like flipping through old sketchbooks, there’s so many ideas that never get completed in them. It’s like a gold mine for times when I’m in a rut.

Firstly, Happy new years!!!!!

Secondly, here’s a new illustration that I did at the end of December.

The border was very fun to do. After I sketched out the rough, I scanned it in, then vectorized it.
That way I was able to print it out and then cut out the shapes easily.

I’ll hopefully try this method again at some point :)

Something quick and simple.

One of the bad things about city life is that you’re unable to see stars at night.
I grew up in suburbia with a backyard facing an empty lot with trees, so it’s these small things that I miss.

I rearranged and scaled some of the constellations… I hope no one minds.

I grew up playing simulation-based computer games by Maxis like Sim Ants, Sim Farm, and most notably The Sims.

The Sims is what first came to my mind while I was roughing out this illustration  :P

If only I put in a green plumbob somewhere….

Why hello there!

It’s been way to long since my last update, and I apologize.
It feels like lots of stuff has happened since my last post, but at the same time… it doesn’t.

Time has mostly been spent working on some of my personal side projects
but it also includes me getting sick for 3 weeks, and then hospitalized for a short while.
(Fun, right?)

But no worries!
I’m 100% better now!
(Though it’s slightly disconcerting that the doctors weren’t able to pinpoint what exactly was wrong with me)

Anyways.

The illustration above is something that I finished very recently!
(I actually doodled this image in a sketchbook while I was in the hospital.)

I hope to get back into the groove of things again, and start illustrating!

This was an illustration that I did for the Registered Nurse Journal about a student who wrote an assignment during high school regarding her ambitions to be a nurse and where it would lead to in the future.
