Firstly, I tweaked my main site.

Not much has changed look-wise except for the header and how the gallery looks (and a few other things here and there). The underlying coding is what mostly changed, so updating the site will (hopefully) be a lot easier from now on.

Now going on to more interesting things… namely the Teeny Tiny Art Show.
You can now browse the other pieces that are going to be in the show at the Three Graces Gallery’s Flickr set.
It definitely looks like an awesome mix of artists, all with different styles!

Wow. I’ve had the rough sketch of this image floating around for at least 2~3 years, and I’ve finally come around to finalizing it.

I’m sort of glad that I waited this long. I can’t really imagine how I would have gone about doing it 2~3 years ago, but it probably wouldn’t have looked too good.

I  have a few more old sketches in a pile that I hope to get to one day.

I seem to also be doing a lot of red fish recently… I should take a break from doing them, or at least make them a different colour next time!

Firstly, apologizes for the very, very, very long absence.

I’ve been working on 6 new illustrations that will appear in the Teeny Tiny Art Show at the Three Graces Gallery in Portsmouth, NH!
The show opens on September 3rd, and goes until September 26th.

I’ve finished all of them, but for now here’s a sneak peek at two of the pieces that will be showing!

You’ve all seen this one before. It’s a lengthened version of “Fish Forest”
I just liked it so much that I had to make it again!

And this one is probably one of my favourites in all the ones I made for this show. It’s a bit sad to be letting it go, really.
Actually, it’s a bit sad to let any of them go! I get pretty easily attached to my originals.

In all my pieces for this show, I focused on the subject of animals. The other animals I illustrated are birds, frogs, snakes and mice. Each one measures about 5″ x 4″.

I’ll post the rest up when the opening date gets closer!

So welcome to the new blog!

Recently I’ve been tinkering and getting comfortable with using WordPress, so I thought maybe it was time to transfer over. This way, I have a bit more freedom and flexibility with things like the layout.

I can make the thumbnails of the images a lot bigger now!!

Anyways.

This is actually used as a background for another picture I was working on, but I ended up liking it just as it is.

Just a small post to say that the originals that I posted in the last two entries are now up for sale in my Etsy store!

I’ll probably be doing more of these things pretty soon : )

These two are photos instead of the usual scanned images… I did try to scan them at first, but because they’re more 3D than my usual images, they turned out horrible : D

I wish I could take better photos of them, but these will have to do for now. I’ll be taking more pictures later on anyways once I get frames (and hopefully they’ll turn out a bit better than these ones!)

Both are 4″x6″ and I’m planning to eventually sell these (and more once I make them) on my Etsy… but first I need to get frames!
